DEPUTY HEADTEACHER

Salary Grade Range: Leadership L10-L14

Actual Salary Range: £57,494 - £62,621 per annum

Hours of work: Full Time - 32.5 hours per week

Contractual status: Permanent

The Governors wish to appoint a committed, enthusiastic and inspirational Deputy Headteacher to play an integral part in the development of our School. This is an opportunity for an excellent teaching practitioner or Assistant Headteacher who wishes to progress and is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to make significant contributions towards developing our successful school.

We are looking for a leader who:

· Understands the nature and purpose of Catholic education

· Has experience as an exemplary and outstanding classroom practitioner

· Has high expectations of the children's learning and behaviour

· Has experience of teaching across the age range or a demonstrative ability to do so

· Has knowledge and experience of assessment for learning, data analysis and rigorous school self review and evaluation practices

· Has vision, energy and enthusiasm for this challenge

· Has experience in successfully leading curriculum school development

· Has a commitment to their own professional development

· Has a strong commitment to raising standards across the school

· Has experience of leading and driving school improvement

· Has excellent organisational and interpersonal skills; experienced in establishing and maintaining good professional relationships
