The Governors of this well established and successful 11-18 girls’ Catholic School are seeking to appoint a new Deputy Headteacher for September 2022, who is a committed, practising Catholic and an inspirational person to play a key role in whole school improvement.

The post offers an excellent opportunity for a dynamic leader who aspires to an eventual headship. Specific roles will be negotiated depending on the successful candidate’s strengths and experiences. 

The successful applicant will need: 

  • a strong commitment to Catholic education and the formation of young people;  
  • high expectations for the learning and achievement of all students;  
  • proven leadership abilities including excellent management and communication skills with the ability to motivate others;  
  • to be an outstanding classroom practitioner who is able to inspire others by example;  
  • to work effectively as part of the team and support the needs of all staff;  
  • to work closely with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to identify new opportunities for the school.

Informal visits are welcomed by prior appointment with the Headteacher.
