Deputy Headteacher

New Rush Hall SchoolRedbridge

New Rush Hall is an outstanding (Ofsted 2016) all through Special School for young people experiencing social, emotional and/or mental health difficulties (SEMH),  many of which present challenging behaviour. We offer 40 primary and 40 secondary places to young people within Redbridge and neighbouring boroughs.

A recent vacancy in the Leadership Team has meant we are looking for a Deputy Headteacher to join the existing Deputy Head and Executive Headteacher in continuing to drive the school forward.

We are looking for a dynamic leader with:

  • Qualified Teacher status
  • Successful leadership and management experience in a school
  • Experience of, or a passion to work with, pupils with complex SEMH needs
  • A commitment to getting the best outcomes for all pupils and promoting the ethos and values of the school
  • Experience of contributing to staff development

If you are a successful mainstream teacher who wants a challenge, but are worried about making a move into special education, or an existing teacher in a special school, feel free to call us to talk about how a leadership position at New Rush Hall School  can enhance your professional development.
