Slough and Eton has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and committed senior leader to join the school as our second Deputy Headteacher. Our current Headteacher joined the school in September 2017 and the Governors are delighted to support the appointment of a second Deputy Headteacher to the school’s strong and dedicated leadership team.
We are seeking a senior leader with current secondary school leadership experience and who is an excellent classroom practitioner. The successful candidate will have a track record of success as a senior leader, have a strong sense of excellence and the ability to bring projects to fruition. The post holder will play a full senior leadership role within the school and key responsibilities will include the strategic leadership of: •
• Curriculum provision and development;
• Standards and achievement at KS3 and KS4;
• STEM development across the school;
• Oversight of SEND and our resource base The Hub;
• Whole school ICT and e-safety.
Other wider responsibilities will be determined in response to the successful candidate’s strengths and experience.
We would particularly welcome applications from candidates with experience of working with PiXL and who have had recent experience of Ofsted inspections. Slough and Eton has a strong track record of training and supporting staff in all roles and will ensure the successful candidate is able to access the training they need to be successful in their role.
