Who are Peak Education?

We are an alternative education provider with 4 registered independent day schools and we help our students to get the most out of education and overcome social, emotional and behavioural barriers. We use academic, vocational and adventure programmes to build confidence and self-worth, making mainstream learning accessible to all.


Responsibilities of appointment:

· Be an active participant of the school leadership team.

· Lead by example, holding and articulating clear values and moral purpose, and focusing on providing excellent education for all pupils.

· Assist the Headteacher in the strategic leadership and management of the school.

· Assist the Headteacher in the day to day organisation and management of the school.

· Support and/or represent the Headteacher at meetings as and when required.

· Deputise for the Headteacher in their absence from the school. A Deputy Headteacher must undertake their professional duties to the extent required by the Headteacher.

· Undertake such duties as delegated by the Headteacher.

· Be responsible for the standards and curriculum of all pupils including monitoring of progress towards achievement.

· Manage staff and resources.

· Play a major role, under the overall direction of the Headteacher, in formulating, implementing and reviewing the School Development Plan.

· Deputy Designated Safeguarding lead.
