We are looking for an innovative and highly effective leader to join our forward thinking and proactive team. You need to be an excellent role model, committed to continuous improvement, and have the ability to lead and develop initiatives within our school.  

Oaks Park High School is a rapidly improving school of 1200 students with excellent facilities.  The school joined Cheam Academies Network in September 2019 and has established strong working relationships with its sister school, Cheam High School, an outstanding school of 2000 students.  Both schools are oversubscribed and sited in the London Borough of Sutton, approximately 10 minutes driving distance apart.

This is a very exciting opportunity to join a forward looking and proactive Trust with an outstanding track record.  This post will provide the opportunity for considerable career development and will provide a strong basis for further promotion.

You will be joining a team of brilliant people who are passionate about helping our students thrive and achieve the very best they can. Every member of staff -  from our friendly receptionists to the dedicated leadership team - works tirelessly to support our students, their families and their colleagues.

The leadership team has put in place a substantial professional development programme to encourage staff to flourish and progress.  This includes a bespoke teaching and learning package, the support of a specialist mentoring and coaching group, and opportunities for cross-Trust department collaboration.   Additionally all staff are supported by a wellbeing team which actively seeks opportunities to improve staff experience and offer support if needed.

Leaders consider staff workload and wellbeing. Staff feel supported and appreciate the training opportunities provided, including those offered by the Trust.
