Job overview

The governors are seeking to appoint an inspirational and dynamic leader to join this 11-16 Catholic school. 

The successful candidate will:


• be a practising Catholic

• have a track record of effective leadership at middle or senior management level

• have ambitions for Headship in 3 to 5 years

• have experience of analysing and presenting data and results, and of being a raising standards leader

• have an outstanding record in leading on the curriculum as well as curriculum design

• be an outstanding teacher and have experience of leading on teaching quality as well as coaching teaching colleagues

• have overall responsibility for the whole school timetable, duties, and the options process

• line manage whole school areas including PSHCE, CEIAG, and SMSC as well as core subjects 

• be willing to share all aspects of the leadership and management of the school in the pursuit of an excellent education for all our pupils

• be an excellent classroom teacher
