Following the promotion of the current post holder to headship, we seek an exceptional leader to become Deputy Headteacher at our popular, successful and oversubscribed 11-19 comprehensive school. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate wanting to join our ‘diverse and harmonious learning community’ (Ofsted) and to share Brentside High School’s commitment to excellence, ‘No exceptions, no excuses’.

You will:

  • Have a proven track record of leading whole school initiatives, managing change and creating a caring environment that promotes achievement
  • Have a passion for outstanding learning, inspiring students and colleagues to be the best they can be
  • Be an outstanding classroom teacher with excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students, staff and other stakeholders
  • Have initiative and ideas and a flexible, creative and good-humoured approach to leadership and teamwork
  • Be an aspiring Headteacher and be able to deputise for the Headteacher
