DEPUTY HEADTEACHER 

Scale Range: L18-21(fringe area) • Required from September 2018 

The Governors and Headmistress are seeking to appoint a Deputy Headteacher to join the school’s dynamic and dedicated leadership team. He or she will take a lead role in the monitoring and evaluation of standards, the promotion of effective teaching and learning practices and the management of the processes that ensure the efficient running of the school. 

The successful applicant must have: 

  • excellent interpersonal skills, ideas and imagination to build on current good practice;
  • a proven track record in raising standards in whole school provision; 
  • experience in developing and maintaining excellent teaching and learning; 
  • a deep understanding of current issues affecting 11-18 schools. 

We are seeking to appoint a person who is able to sustain and contribute to the school’s ethos and vision. The successful applicant will be an outstanding teacher and an effective team player. The ability to think strategically and to work with the Headmistress and leadership team to develop the school and maximise the use of resources is essential.
