Denefield School is a successful standalone academy providing high quality education to nearly 1150 students aged 11 to 18.  The school has excellent facilities, is financially stable, and has recently benefited from considerable investment.  The school is firmly focused on ensuring ‘Success for Life’ for all of its students, and embeds nine CHARACTER values in its community: confidence, happiness, articulacy, resilience, ambition, courage, tolerance, empathy and respect.   In February 2018 Ofsted graded the school as ‘good’, noting ‘Pupils behave well in the school. They are kind and respectful towards each other and their teachers.  They wear their uniform with pride.’  We strive to equip our students with the skills, academic qualifications and personal attributes to thrive in the modern world and are firmly committed to ensuring students are the best they can be.
