 We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our team as Deputy Headteacher with the prime responsibility of Inclusion. The post holder will have ambition, drive and vision and will subscribe to our values and culture. They will play a significant part in the leadership of the school through it’s next stage of improvement.  The post will report directly to the Principal and be both challenging and rewarding in equal measure.

 About our Trust

Great Academies Education Trust (GAET) is a multi-academy trust (MAT) currently comprising of three other academies and a DfE accredited SCITT. Two of our other academies and our SCITT have also been Ofsted graded GOOD.  We have ambition to grow and have collaborative partnerships with schools and trusts across Greater Manchester. You will have a wide range of recent experiences of Inclusion, which may include Behaviour, Attendance, SEND and Safeguarding.

 You will be able to develop collaborative working relationships, prioritising your workload, particularly under pressure to meet deadlines. You will be a strong people manager, able to get the best out of your teams and support them to contribute fully to the academy improvement strategy.

 About the Role

This is an exciting role and an opportunity to work with the Principal of the school as well as with great colleagues, great support and most of all, our students.

Middleton Technology School is an 11-16 school, and is one of 4 secondary schools serving the town of Middleton within the Borough of Rochdale to the north of the Manchester boundary. The school is part of Great Academies Education Trust which is a small multi academy trust.
