As a Deputy Housemaster/mistress at College Beau Soleil you will play a key part in our ongoing drive to raise the quality of everything we do. Together we ensure that our students enjoy an extraordinary holistic education in the exceptional alpine setting of Villars-sur-Ollon.

As part of the boarding team, our Deputy Housemaster/mistress perform an invaluable role supporting the Housemaster/mistress in creating and maintaining a home from home family environment in which students feel secure and well supported throughout their time at Beau Soleil.

Working closely with an experienced Housemaster/mistress, and deputising for him by taking charge of the house in his absence, you will share responsibility for the all- round welfare of the young people in your boarding house. Working closely with the rest of the team and liaising daily with tutors, Heads of Section and the Academic Management Team, your support will enable the students in your boarding house to thrive and fulfil their potential in all areas of their life at Beau Soleil. Where appropriate, we like Deputy Housemaster/mistress to teach a number of lessons, as agreed by the Principal, so that there is a true crossover between both areas of the school.

The closing date for applications is March 8th, 2019. Successful short listed candidates will be contacted with initial discussions conducted remotely by telephone or Skype. A second round of interviews will take place soon after the initial contact, in person, in Switzerland.
