Deputy Manager – Catering Team

One Year Fixed Term Maternity Cover

37 hours per week, Term Time plus One Week

£24,000 to £25,000 pro rata per annum FTE (Actual Salary £18,738 to £19,519 per annum)

An opportunity to be a key part of a busy catering team on a one-year contract has arisen, acting as the key link between students, parents, the catering team and wider school community.   

We put health and well-being at the centre of our pastoral care. Our catering team play a vital role in ensuring our community are well fed and that our students appreciate the importance of good nutritious food.  

This hugely varied position would suit an experienced team player with an interest in food and a background in hospitality or customer service who enjoys working in a vibrant organisation.

You will help develop the catering offering, and oversee aspects of the day-to-day delivery. You will be a reassuring point of contact for families who wish to discuss their daughter’s dietary needs, working alongside the pastoral team. The role also helps manage catering for school events and student initiatives. 

The ideal candidate will have experience managing a team, enjoy working to multiple deadlines and be able to demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and organisational skills.

The role involves working school hours with the possibility of some evening work.
