We have a new opportunity for a Deputy Nursery Manager to join our committed and pro-active team within The Howard Nursery School. Set in the grounds of Howard of Effingham School, the Nursery School is open to children from 18 months to 4 years. The Howard Nursery School is open term time, offering a flexible working pattern, opening hours: 8am to 5pm.  The Director and Nursery School Manager are committed to ensuring The Howard Nursery School is an employer of choice and a Nursery School that thrives on delivering the best experience for staff, the children and their parents.

The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting the Nursery Manager in the the day-to-day operations of the nursery, working with curriculum planning, staffing levels and behaviour management and running the nursery in their absence.  Essentially you will have proven line management experience in a similar setting together with effective communication skills and an excellent understanding of EYFS.  You will be a minimum NVQ Level 3 qualified with a pro-active can-do attitude and strong leadership skills.
