Ark All Saints Academy opened in September 2013 with an intake of 120 Year 7 scholars, and has grown year-on-year to now be full in Years 7-11.
Our staff team is deeply committed to the new Academy’s transformation and future, and looking to create a vision for success, a culture of academic achievement and a nurturing environment in which our scholars can thrive. A Church of England school whose only admission criteria is on distance, we welcome scholars of all faiths and none and we expect all members of staff to support and uphold the moral ethos of our Academy.
We are seeking to recruit a confident, positive and self-motivated individual as Deputy Pastoral Director. Working with scholars, this an important role to support the Pastoral Director in creating and embedding a culture that enables all scholars to maximise their achievements across the spectrum of school life, as well as ensure that the highest level of pastoral care is provided to every scholar.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- experience of working effectively with children/young people and their families
- resilience and relentless drive to do what it takes to ensure all scholars succeed
- a friendly and supportive manner, which enables the development of a positive working relationship with a wide range of staff and scholars
- a genuine passion and a belief in the potential of every scholar.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an outstanding candidate with experience in pastoral care or youth work who is ready for the next challenge in their career or perhaps a career-changer considering a move into teaching.
