Deputy Pastoral Leader 

Permanent 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year 

Salary £16,921 – £18,682

Due to the continued growth of the Academy, Trustees/Governors are seeking to appoint two suitably qualified and experienced professionals, as permanent Deputy Pastoral Leaders. These posts are to add additional capacity to pastoral support in the Academy and join the two staff already employed in these roles. The successful post holder will work within a team, with a responsibility for a year group.  The successful candidates will be highly motivated, having responsibilities which include the management of pupil behaviour to Academy standards and liaison with parents, staff and outside agencies. They will work closely with Pastoral Leaders but will have the initiative and drive to work independently when required, using Academy policies and guidance for direction.  Good IT skills are essential and knowledge and experience of working in an educational environment would be an advantage.  Applicants are encouraged to read the additional job purpose information before applying.
