West Heath School is an Independent SEN residential school with charity status.  We provide education, therapy and care for children and young adults aged 10-19 who have a range of social, emotional and mental health needs.  We welcome applications from professionals, with an excellent leadership track record, who believe they can take our school to the next stage of its development.

We are looking to appoint a dynamic and exceptional professional as Deputy Principal, to support the Principal & Chief Executive to effectively lead West Heath School and deliver our vision, mission and strategic priorities. Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate an outstanding record as a leader in Education with experience in SEN and be strongly committed to promoting the school’s values, ethos and the progression of our students.

The successful applicant will have a pivotal role in sustaining our existing offer and further developing West Heath School.

Our School

West Heath School is an Independent SEN residential school with charity status. We provide a therapeutically informed learning environment for children aged 10-19 who have suffered some form of trauma and are unable to access mainstream education.
