Our client is a top independent school located 1.5 hours west of Brisbane.
The school seeks to appoint an aspiring or established teacher to lead Pastoral Care & Daily Organisation. This position boasts attractive employment conditions including good facilities, excellent student behaviours and competitive remuneration package. Applicants must be willing to uphold the private school ethos and be willing to participate in the extra-curricular school program.

 

About the Role:

  • Fixed Term, Full Time 5 year contract
  • This position holds an underlying full time, continuing teacher appointment
  • Commencing Term 1, 2019
  • Catholic Secondary Co-educational College for years 7-12
  • The role holder has delegated responsibility for the leadership, organisation and co-ordination of the College by the Principal

 

Functional responsibilities:

  • Assists the Principal in providing leadership of the College community
  • Provides significant leadership as part of a dynamic educational ministry and plays an essential role in the learning and development of students
  • Supports and develops staff through regular monitoring, professional learning, collaborative practices and enacting effective employee relations
  • Develops and maintain processes to manage physical and financial resources which effectively deliver the educative programs of the College
  • Works collaboratively and transparently in assisting with the creation of strategic plans and the allocation of resources to enact these.

 

Candidates with proven experience in a similar role will be highly regarded
