We are a large Science department with 14 teachers across all three specialisms (three part-time staff) with varying degrees of experience. Teachers are supported by two experienced technicians and the labs are well equipped. Science is a very successful department with students achieving strongly over consecutive years. You will be working with the subject leader to further develop and implement the curriculum in Physics across all key stages with a particular focus on improving the provision at KS5 Opportunity to mentor and develop other staff within the department. The role would suit someone who is enthusiastic and passionate about their subject who is seeking a new role to take on responsibility.
