We are a boy's school with co-educational Sixth Form. There are currently 937 pupils on roll; approximately 100 of these are boarders. The Sixth Form has about 340 students of whom just over 100 are girls.
We are looking for an enthusiastic technician to join our busy and well-equipped department. The ideal candidate should have workshop experience, in either academic or industrial settings and familiarity with Computer Aided Design and Manufacture (CAD/CAM) would be advantageous. They should have the ability to work alongside our D&T (Product Design) teachers and young people, in a positive and supportive way, to assist teaching and learning in lessons and some after school activities.
The role is 35 hours per week, term-time plus 5 extra days during the school holidays.
Salary will be subject to experience and qualifications.

Haberdashers' Adams (formerly Adams' Grammar School) is a co-ed selective state grammar school in the market town of Newport, Shropshire, founded in 1656.The School welcomes boys aged 11-18 as day boys or boarders, and girls aged 16-18 as day girls in our Sixth Form.
