Winchester College is delighted to be able to offer a graduate “Junior Fellow” teaching placement in our Design and Technology Department. This position will suit a design engineering graduate with an interest in facilitating innovative project work.

Winchester College is a boy’s boarding school of 700 pupils. It was founded in 1382, and is one of the world's oldest and most prestigious schools. The school’s examination results are excellent. We offer a distinctive and rigorous curriculum, which is complemented by a very wide range of sport, music, art, drama and other co-curricular activities. 

The Winchester Junior Fellowship Scheme (JF) was set up in 2006 with the aim to add diversity to the teaching at Winchester College by recruiting undergraduates and graduates from a wide variety of backgrounds to fulfil short-term positions and to develop the next generation of teachers.

This placement is for up to three terms, 1 September 2018 to 31 August 2019. 

Support will be given throughout the period by the team of teachers and technicians.

Situated in Hampshire, Winchester College is an independent, secondary school for pupils aged between 13 and 18. The school was founded in 1382 by the Bishop of Winchester, William of Wykeham. It was expanded in the 19th Century to accommodate the popular demand in the local society. At the moment, there are over 700 pupils enrolled at the boarding school.
