Part-time: Two days a week (Thursday and Friday)

Scale: G3 Points 5-6 (£19,312 - £19,698 Actual salary £6,595 - £6,726)

We are seeking an enthusiastic, well organised and highly motivated individual to take on the role of Design & Technology technician at Carlton le Willows Academy.

The successful candidate will need experience of working with a variety of materials in workshop conditions, using appropriate equipment and machinery.  Previous experience in a resistant materials or engineering background would be desirable, but not essential.

Candidates will be working with minimum supervision.  They should enjoy a varied day, be prepared to work flexibly and be able to support all aspects of a Design and Technology department. They also need to have a good rapport with children.

The successful candidate will be offered training in machine use, maintenance and first aid.
