We are looking to recruit a technician for our Design & Technology department. The successful candidate will ideally have workshop experience and will be assisting with the preparation of lessons and materials for the D&T department along with assisting with other areas within the Design Centre at Rugby School. You will be assisting the academic staff to ensure our pupils have access to resources to ensure effective learning and teaching.

 The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a creative mind and approach
  • Have experience working in a Design and Technology environment
  • Have great communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have a methodical approach to problem solving
  • Be self-motivated, dynamic, with a keen eye for detail
  • Have experience with health and safety procedures
  • Have a good understanding of safeguarding
  • Have experience working with young people ideally within a school/ college environment

Ideal Starting date: April 2018/ ASAP
