Design Technology Teacher

Smart Teachers is recruiting for a Design Technology Teacher to join a school in Hounslow, West London. This full time teaching post is available for a September 2017 start, which will include a generous permanent offer for the right candidate.

About the Role:

• Design Technology Teacher preferably specialising in Product Design, although all applicants are welcome
• Teaching across KS3, KS4 and KS5 depending on the specialism
• Product Design is offered at KS5 so may involve KS5 timetable
• Extracurricular responsibilities available
• Marking/planning involved
• Salary grade – MPS depending on candidates experience
• Salary up to £40,000
• September 2017 start

• New building in progress with student expansion in mind that should be completed in the next year
• Product Design offered at KS3, KS4 and KS5
• Design and Technology offered at KS3 and KS4

In order to be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:

• Hold a Bachelor of Education/ PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree
• Have proven experience teaching the UK curriculum (essential)
• Strong behaviour management (preferred)
• Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
• Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
