Job overview

We are seeking a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher to join our successful Design and Technology team. Experience of teaching the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme (MYP Design and DP Design and Technology) is desirable but not essential. Training will be made available for the right applicant. A suitable candidate will have a love of making and strong digital skills - this includes an interest in rapid prototyping and digital manufacturing. A high level of understanding of the importance of health and safety in a practical situation is also necessary.

All students in the Middle Years Programme will study Design and the recently introduced DP Design Technology course is rapidly growing in popularity.

The Design and Technology accommodation comprises of four studios including a computer room and two labs equipped with a range of equipment including laser cutters and 3D printers. All rooms have smart boards.

The School is unable to offer Tier 2 sponsorship for this role. Please ensure that you already have the legal right to work and reside in the UK.
