Design Technology Teacher

Due to the growth of the faculty we are looking to appoint a dynamic, strong, and inspirational teacher of Design Technology from January 2018. The ability to teach Product Design at Key Stage 3 and 4 is preferred however the ideal candidate will have the ability to teach across multiple specialisms.

Sir Stanley Matthews Academy is a Good school with Outstanding Leadership and Management, which is defined equally by its high academic achievements and its warmth and inclusivity. In January 2013, we moved into a new building with outstanding facilities. The successful candidate will be required to teach up to and including GCSE (A-Level desirable), who is committed to making a difference to students but at the same time must be an interesting person who will bring that something extra special in their presence and character. The Art and Technology Faculty is in a period of rapid expansion offering the subjects of Art, Textiles, Food, Hospitality, Product Design and Engineering.
