Wolverley CE Secondary School is a thriving, dynamic and rapidly improving school for students aged 11 to 18 that has the Church of England ethos running throughout its core.

Everything at Wolverley is underpinned by our six key values of Love, Respect, Forgiveness, Gratitude, Belonging and Understanding. Our students learning, in all aspects, is placed at the heart of our drive for excellence. Our aim is to prepare all our students for adult life in a caring, supportive and happy environment.

And what an environment it is! The school boasts an unparalleled outdoor landscape with 27 acres of beautiful grounds and rural surroundings. The teaching facilities are first-rate and feature a professional recording studio, ski slope, music ICT suite and even an animal care centre.

The ‘Wolverley Way’ incorporates all of the above but is so much more! Our curriculum is designed with the individual student in mind, with Language for Learning at the heart of every lesson. Vertical tutoring, across our four colleges, builds strong positive relationships and encourages the values that we take out into our local, wider and global community. Our motto of ‘ambition unlimited’ runs throughout the school and we expect the very best from all of our students and staff.

As well as being LA controlled, Wolverley CE Secondary School is part of the ContinU Trust, a charitable company which builds strong partnerships with local schools and colleges. As a result we have worked with Baxter College to create BW6, offering the ‘flexibility of college with the quality and care of a school’
