Job overview

Student Services are looking for one enthusiastic and experienced Safeguarding Officer with experience of supporting students with safeguarding concerns. Trained as a DSO, the applicant will be joining a successful & high achieving team. 

The successful applicant will be working across all campuses to support students with their safeguarding concerns although the main base will be Southgate.

You will need to understand the safeguarding and prevent agenda within the remit of the role, have experience in working with a caseload of students as well as providing support and training to staff who work in the college. Evidence of excellent partnership working is required in order to fully support the students. Good IT skills are also essential as well as A-C in English & Maths (or equivalent) 

You will be working as part of a cross college safeguarding team. Although, the post holder could be asked to work at any of the college campuses in Barnet, Enfield, although the majority of the work will be based at Southgate.
