Development & Communications Officer

Salary: £25-30,000 per annum 

Hours: 35 per week full-time although there will be a need for occasional flexible working.

We are seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to support the fundraising and alumni engagement of one of the UK’s leading state schools. Building on our history of philanthropy and successful £7 million campaign, there is significant potential for the right candidate to make their mark and achieve results.

Located in Holland Park, supporting around 1,000 pupils aged 11 – 18 years, this school is leading the way in state school fundraising and alumni network development. At this critical time for state education, we are seeking a Development and Communications Officer to support exciting fundraising and communications strategies which will take our efforts to the next level across the wider community.

About the School

The Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School is a highly successful and oversubscribed Roman Catholic comprehensive school for boys, with a pan-London intake and mixed Sixth Form. It was graded outstanding in its most recent Ofsted report and was recently named The Sunday Times Comprehensive School of the Year 2018 and London State Secondary School of the Year. 

Location

Conveniently located halfway between Shepherd’s Bush and Holland Park tube stations, the Vaughan is situated within the leafy surroundings of London’s prestigious Holland Park and is within easy walking distance of Holland Park gardens, Westfield shopping centre and nearby Notting Hill. Both stations are served by the Central Line, with Shepherd’s Bush Overground also running trains to Clapham Junction every ten minutes.
