Development Manager

Caterham is one of the UK’s leading co-educational schools. It is well placed for access to town and country: the beautiful two-hundred-acre site is five minutes’ drive from Junction 6 of the M25, twenty minutes’ drive from Gatwick and a short walk from the local station, with several trains an hour into London.  

The School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic self-starter to create, manage and sustain a long-term fundraising and development strategy. The successful candidate is likely to be either an experienced fundraising professional, or have transferable skills from a marketing or communications background.  

Reporting to the Headmaster and working closely with the Director of Marketing and Communications, this post is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to build, and further develop, a career in educational fundraising.  

Salary will be commensurate with skills and previous experience (band circa £40,000 to £45,000). This post is a full-time role and will involve working some evenings and weekends.
