Job overview

An enthusiastic and ambitious person is required to start as soon as possible to support the Marketing and Foundation Departments, focussing on digital communications across a variety of platforms.

The role will also incorporate the digital marketing of the school both within the UK and overseas with the aim of recruiting students and maximising returns from non-core businesses. 

The successful candidate will be involved with the day to day management of the public facing website, social media channels and other digital platforms. You will also be heavily involved in content creation and copywriting for a variety of publications and marketing materials.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent administrative and communication skills, IT knowledge including social media and website content creation and editing, a creative eye for design as well as outstanding attention to detail. A good telephone manner is essential. The candidate will need to be confident communicating with all stakeholders of the Moreton Hall community including parents, pupils, prospective families and external vendors. 

Proficiency in the Microsoft Office and Google Drive suite is required, particularly Word, Docs, Excel and Sheets. 

Knowledge of Photoshop and website content management systems would be an advantage.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience with the role digital communications plays within event management, marketing, PR, advertising and fundraising.

Located in the town of Oswestry, Shropshire, Moreton Hall is an all-through school with a Sixth Form for pupils between the ages of 3 and 18. The school was founded in 1913 in an Elizabethan manor house. Boys are accepted up to Year 8.
