TES Resources is currently recruiting for a Digital Content Assistant to form part of the Curation team, who work to identify and package the high-quality educational resources on our sharing platform for teachers.

What you’ll do

This role is focused on working with the teaching resources that are uploaded to the TES website by our users all over the world. Your aim within the team will be to drive engagement with TES Resources content through a variety of avenues.

Reporting to the Head of Content Curation, the Digital Content Assistant will take responsibility for ensuring all site updates and content plans are published daily across the TES Resources platform. This includes combining insights into trends, academic year planning and current affairs to ensure our content offering is vibrant, fresh and engaging for teachers worldwide.

As part of the Resources team, you’ll work with colleagues to ensure content deadlines are met and cross-department communication with Marketing and Social media will also be required. There may also be the opportunity to support with the researching, writing, compiling and collating resources packages for various content channels, including email newsletters and blog posts.

Who you are

Detail orientated, organised, with the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines under pressure, you will also have a creative, professional and warm manner. You will be a team player, but have the ability to work on your own initiative, be self- motivated and resourceful.

You will have a good understanding of the key trends of digital classroom teaching and the characteristics of high quality resources. You may have previous classroom teaching experience or have an educational publishing background.

Being IT-literate and a fast learner, you will be able to work with a variety of digital publishing tools and be confident doing so.

Having an excellent grasp of spelling, punctuation and grammar is essential, as is the ability to express yourself clearly in writing.

Most of all, you will be passionate about doing a great job and have a willingness to learn.
