About the role  

Trainer/Assessors are responsible for a caseload of learners participating in training towards a range of Digital Standards. Trainer/Assessors contribute to the design and delivery of learning programmes and assessments, to enable apprentices to successfully achieve their qualifications and Standards.  Trainer/Assessors liaise closely with Employers and have a key role in developing learners to achieve their learning goals and inspiring them to overcome barriers.  

Trainer/Assessors teach and assess apprentices within the workplace, classroom and online using a range of teaching and assessment methods, measuring an apprentice’s progress, giving them advice and guidance, setting tasks and offering 1-2-1 support.  Trainer/Assessors will actively support, mentor and motivate learners throughout their apprenticeship journey and will play a key role in ensuring the timely completion of Digital Standards and will use their professional expertise to support learners to achieve their qualifications and to prepare and support learners through to End Point Assessment. 



The successful candidate will have:  

• Relevant occupational qualification at minimum Level 4.  

• Occupational competence in Social Media and Digital Marketing 

• Assessor Qualification, e.g. A1, D32, D33, or TAQA or willing to work towards

• Teaching qualification or willing to work towards

• Functional Skills Level 2 or GCSE’s A-C Maths and English

• Practical occupational experience 

• Experience of online classroom delivery

• Assessing experience of the Digital Marketing and Marketing Executive Apprenticeship Standards - desirable

• Proven track record of consistently achieving performance targets.

• Proven track record of imparting skills and learning to others.

• Desire to assist learners achieve their career and learning aspirations.

• High level of self-motivation - ability to work on own initiative.

• Clear proactive approach to planning, organising, prioritising workload.

• Good problem solving / decision making skills. 

• Well-developed interpersonal & communication skills.

• Strong customer service focus.  

• Ability to achieve deadlines and targets.

• Ability to motivate others and influence work behaviours.
