Job overview

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Technician / Production Director to support and develop our Digital Media curriculum. The role will provide technical and production support to teaching staff and students in the Media Studies department at St Charles to enable optimum use of the production facilities, create high quality digital media student productions and ensure technical resources are maintained to a high standard.

There will be a training requirement as part of the role, demonstrating specialist equipment and digital media production packages such as Final Cut Pro X and Adobe After Effects. The role will also be responsible for issuing, collecting and monitoring use of hired kit, developing a kit booking system to minimise loss and damage. It would be useful if the role holder were able to conduct basic fault finding and repairs on technical equipment.

There will also be a teaching some teaching required in the role, however you do not have to be a qualified teacher to apply.
