This is your opportunity to take on a brand new and exciting role, make it your own, and deliver brilliant outcomes for a whole range of students and learners including those studying for the new T-levels.  You will be ambitious for our learners and the College, leading on developments across our digital programmes and be the driver for expansion and growth of the area.  

Our programmes include HND, apprenticeships, A levels, T-levels and Transition to T-level.  The role is a great opportunity for you to take a step into leadership in the sector.  You’ll be supported to lead these programmes, making sure we are offering the right learning and opportunities at all levels and building great relationships with employers.  

There will be a 0.8 teaching commitment (662 hours) attached to this post so ideally you’ll have a background in programming (e.g. Python, C, C#, C++, Javascript frameworks, Java, PHP or SQL) , experience of delivery of A-level Computer Science or be Cisco qualified.  You’ll ensure all our programmes deliver learning to a high technical standard that will meet the future needs of business and ensure our students can head to their destinations with confidence in their skills and knowledge.

Strode College is a further education establishment for students aged 16 to 19, providing vocational qualifications, A-levels, and the new T-levels as well as providing degree-level qualifications.  We are based in the town of Street, in Somerset and were labelled “outstanding” in the latest Ofsted report.
