DIRECTOR OF UWC DILIJAN AND THE ENVISIONED EDUCATION INNOVATION CENTER
DILIJAN, ARMENIA

United World College Dilijan, established in 2014, has 213 IB diploma students of diverse social and cultural background from all over the world, admitted on merit, most funded by scholarship. UWC Dilijan and the envisioned Education Innovation Center (to include a teachers college) are the beginnings of a cluster of local schools, a performing arts college and other initiatives of the RVVZ Foundation. UWC Dilijan, the flagship project, is housed in superb new buildings with capacity to expand to 600.

The Governors, ambitious for the college to be a world leader, seek a Director of intellectual distinction, passionate about education, with proven leadership capability to head the College and spearhead the establishment of the Education Innovation Center with the aim of setting new directions in education practice. The work of the Director, who will run several cross-functional teams, will be rooted in the operation and nourishment of the liberal, highly-collaborative and lively residential community of UWC Dilijan.

About UWC Dilijan College

UWC Dilijan – one of the 17 United World Colleges – is an intentionally diverse international boarding school in Armenia. It first opened its doors in August 2014 and now has 218 students (16 to 18-year-old) from 77 countries studying International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma.
