Director for Schools

An exceptional opportunity for an outstanding professional.

The Directors of the Eden Academy Trust are looking to appoint an exceptional candidate into the new and exciting role of Director for Schools. This cross Academy role forms part of the senior leadership team of the Trust and the successful candidate would be expected to work with the CEO, Director for Academy Development and Director for Finance and Operations to lead the strategic development of the Trust, maintaining and improving standards.

The Director for Schools will have the following main duties:

• Will be a member of the senior leadership team of the Trust
• Executive Head of Pentland Field School (legally accountable)
• School improvement services across the Academy
• Performance management of the Heads of School or Headteachers at Grangewood, Pentland Field School, Moorcroft and Alexandra
• Performance management of the Academy Leads for Safeguarding and Family Services
• Research and Development

The vacancy for this role has arisen as a result of a re-structuring of the senior leadership roles in the Trust to take into account its growth and ambition.

It is important that all prospective candidates are fully aware of the aims, aspirations and organisational set-up of the Eden Academy as one of the largest special school Multi Academy Trust (MAT) in the country.
