An exciting opportunity for a Careers and Progression Director has arisen to work alongside our Senior Leadership Team in supporting our highly aspirational and talented students to prepare for the future.

Main Areas of Responsibility

The successful candidate will be required to devise and implement a Careers Strategy in-line with the school development plan and delivery of an effective Careers programme and achievement of the Gatsby Benchmarks, be suitably qualified to provide high-quality, impartial careers information, advice and guidance to students, prospective students and community clients. The role will also involve further developing our partnerships with employers, universities, and external providers.

Qualifications, Experience & Attributes

The post would suit somebody with careers coordinator experience, with the ability to enrich and broaden the learning experiences and aspirations of students across the school through the development of opportunities. We are looking for an individual who will be able to connect positively and share their expertise readily with motivated and exceptional young people. An individual that is committed to future training and development, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to work on their own initiative.

Townley Grammar School is one of the selective schools in the Bexley London Borough.  The school, which was founded in 1937, has over the years established a tradition of academic excellence and is a lively, caring community of which we are justly proud.
