Shrewsbury Colleges Group is seeking an ambitious and highly motivated Director of Communications, Admissions and Marketing. Shrewsbury Colleges Group is Shropshire’s largest college and the largest sixth form college in the country. The college serves 3,400 16-19 year olds, 4000 adults, 1,100 apprentices and 400 higher education students. Reporting directly to the Vice Principal for Curriculum Support and Business Development, the post-holder will play a key role in leading and managing all marketing activities and events that aim to maximise student recruitment to all courses at Shrewsbury Colleges Group. In this role you will be responsible for strategic leadership and management of the college’s student recruitment activities, including the development of a robust and high quality marketing strategy that identifies how the college should build on its current position, capitalise on new digital marketing opportunities, target and capture new markets and ensure a cohesive approach to sales and marketing.
