We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated music teacher to lead our successful Creative and Performing Arts Department. The post is appropriate for a suitably qualified classroom practitioner who is committed to academic excellence and high classroom standards with a record of significant impact in raising achievement.

The successful candidate will have the vision to deliver high standards of teaching and learning and will lead the curriculum development, planning, teaching and assessment to secure excellent outcomes across Key Stage 3 and 4. The successful candidate will join a team of committed and highly professional teachers in a supportive school which has an extremely successful academic record. He/she will be required to teach across the ability range at Key Stage 3-4.

The successful candidate will:

• be a well-qualified practitioner of Music with a passion for Creative and Performing

Arts subjects

• be a good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills

• be a self-motivated and enthusiastic team-player

• have a proven track record of securing successful student outcomes.
