We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational teacher of design & technology with leadership experience to join our vibrant, high achieving and multicultural school. You will have responsibility for improving the quality of teaching and learning of design & technology to ensure the very best outcomes for all students. This is an opportunity for an outstanding candidate, who is an exemplary classroom teacher, to take on the challenge of professionally developing colleagues and leading this department to outstanding results. You will have the ability to motivate and inspire others - both colleagues and students, as well as having the opportunity to develop professionally yourself through our links with the Luton Futures partnership of schools.
The Technology Department is located in a purposely built suite with state of the art resources and ICT throughout. Specialist technology rooms include: food technology kitchen, resistant materials workshop, ICT suite and textiles classroom. The subject delivery includes Resistant Materials, Textiles, Graphics, Food and Nutrition, Cooking and Nutrition and Catering.
