Director of Educational Services (Headteacher)

PACE, an Independent Special School for children aged 2 – 14 years with motor disorders and associated learning difficulties, is seeking a dynamic Head of Educational Services/ Headteacher

This post would be ideal for a talented, committed and ambitious educational professional who has successful experience in a management role.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Head of Educational Services will be responsible for:

• Further developing our innovative educational services, ensuring high levels of achievement and educational practice
• Providing inspirational and dynamic leadership to our transdisciplinary staff team
• Monitoring and enhancing the strong partnerships between parents, PACE and the wider community.

As a member of the Strategic Management Team, the Head of Educational Services will contribute to the formulation and implementation of PACE’s strategic and development plans.

The PACE Centre is an Outstanding school. Our innovative curriculum integrates all aspects of the child’s development; motor, communication, cognitive, self care, social and emotional. The transdisciplinary staff team includes teachers, conductors, therapists and classroom assistants who work collaboratively in a friendly and supportive environment.

The successful candidate will have:

• Professional experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs and disabilities
  
• Management experience and excellent all round communication skills
