This is a really exciting time to join Notre Dame! The College has achieved, again, an Ofsted grade ‘outstanding’ for all measures, there is a 14 classroom new build currently underway and the College is the destination of choice for post-16 young people, being annually over-subscribed. We are also rated ‘outstanding’ by the ESFA for financial health. We are now looking for someone to join our collaborative and progressive SLT team, who can help us further realise the future success for the College.

The prime responsibility of the Director of Finance and Operations is to work with the Principal and the other members of the Senior Leadership Team to ensure that the community of Notre Dame Catholic Sixth Form College succeeds and develops in its mission, and achieves its strategic aims including ambitious plans for growth.

The College is looking to recruit an outstanding individual who is an inspirational and determined leader with drive, initiative and ambition. The post holder will lead on all matters relating to finance and operations, including capital project oversight. Therefore, you will have experience of working with external stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.

The successful candidate will be more than ‘College Finance Director’: they will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team taking Notre Dame into the next phase of its future. This is the ideal post for someone looking to further their career in a progressive, ambitious and supportive environment. We are looking for someone with drive and enthusiasm to strengthen the college’s strategic vision for finance, project management and capital involvement. Ultimately you will be motivational and influential to secure continued success, you will be committed to excellence and who will hold the needs of the staff and the students at the centre of your decision making.
