Job overview

Willow Learning Trust is seeking a motivated Director of Finance to provide strategic leadership of the Trust’s financial operations to ensure robust financial management across the Trust. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the support and financial guidance for our CEO and Headteachers; especially challenging in this time of finance constraint.

This is a key and highly trusted role within the Trust and we are looking for an experienced and qualified financial leader. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual with excellent financial acumen, leadership abilities and interpersonal skills.

About Willow Learning Trust

The Willow Learning Trust was established six years ago in 2017 and now comprises three schools in Sutton and Merton which have been working together productively for many years: Glenthorne High School, Aragon Primary School and Abbey Primary School, all of which share a set of core values and are proud to belong to the Willow Learning Trust but also to maintain autonomy in leadership, governance and their own identity.

The vision of the Willow Learning Trust is to raise standards in the local community through close partnership between Trust schools, building on existing strong links between schools to develop an innovative, creative, collaborative curriculum and an achievement culture with a comprehensive, inclusive ethos.
