We are a forward thinking, dynamic and people focussed organisation seeking a Director of Human Resources to join us in a senior leadership role, to continue to build on and develop the excellent achievements of the department over the last few years.

Our focus is to ensure that the education provision we deliver is supported by a workforce that is empowered and valued, well planned, motivated and developed and are able to operate in a supportive and structured work environment.

We have made huge strides forward with our people agenda over recent years and have made significant investments enabling us to make Stamford a Great Place to Work and study.  It’s an exciting time to be joining the Stamford Schools.  We have just launched our Inclusion Programme, are working towards our new 2 year strategy, and are really focussing on the outputs of our Staff Engagement Survey.  We have implemented a new pay and reward framework for our teaching staff and as we are constantly evolving and moving to meet the demands of the modern workforce, there’s a variety of OD activity that will need driving forward and supporting.

The role will be supporting a diverse workforce with over 600 directly employed staff and volunteers, there’s lots of opportunity for an experienced, senior level HR professional to spread their operational wings and develop their strategic impetus.
