The Arbor School is a new, full age-range school in Dubai. The Arbor School wishes to recruit exceptional senior educators to lead the establishment of the founding team.

This is an opportunity to join the senior management team of a new, premium, full age-range school in Dubai, which will open in August, 2018. Operating to the National Curriculum of England and Wales, the school will have, as its core philosophy, an emphasis on ecology, education for sustainability and inclusion.

The successful candidate will help create a new school from inception to opening and to take staff and pupils through the important first years of the new operation. Starting in the primary phase, we are looking to recruit strong leaders who are able to form excellent relationships with trustees, parents and pupils. In particular, the Director of Inclusion shall play a key role in fulfilling the school’s movement towards exceptional inclusive practice and ensuring that all students throughout the school are receiving a personalised education.

Supported by a fully bilingual management team, the applicants will provide vision and leadership to the learning community and support a wide range of abilities with the help of on-site scientific, linguistic and learning-support/intervention expertise.

Experience of the National Curriculum of England and Wales is essential and experience with international students is desirable.

Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

  • Experience as a school leader who has perhaps held the position of Vice principal in a previous role.
  • Preferred NPQH qualification from the UK

Remuneration Package:

All positions attract a competitive remuneration package made up of a very competitive basic salary and a mix of benefits such as : accommodation allowances, schooling allowances, Transport allowances, private medical insurance, annual economy airfares to country of residence, and end of gratuity as per UAE labour law.
