Job overview

At Highlands College we focus on the success of our Students, we’re not inspected by OFSTED, we’re not funded by the ESFA and we’re not merging. Our terms and conditions are well above that of most UK colleges and we dare to be different.

We’re now looking for a highly motivated and dynamic individual to lead the college’s MIS, Student Records and Exams teams along with passing on knowledge and skills to both Staff and Students at the College.

This is an exciting time to be joining a dynamic forward-thinking college which is well on it way to becoming truly Outstanding education provider. Plus, with over 30 bays, great transport links to London and a culture of getting the work life balance right. Jersey is a great place to live and work.

Candidates are required to have at least 5 years’ experience of working within F.E and In-depth experience of working within an F.E college infrastructure using Capita technologies such as Unit-E and Advantage (or Similar).

The successful candidate will need to be a ‘hands on’ but also have experience of developing and delivering on strategic plans.

Being the only GFE in Jersey, the College has a major impact on the Island and people, we provide a wide range of full-time, part-time, Higher Education and Adult Education programmes with approximately 7000 student enrolments in any one year.

Whist the College is out of EFSA jurisdiction we do adopt all UK performance measures except for condition of funding.

Jersey is a unique and beautiful island, with a temperate climate and an abundance of beaches. If you are passionate about Education and are looking for an opportunity to make a difference in a special and scenic setting, this may be the role for you. A generous relocation package will be offered to the successful candidate. For more information on living and working in Jersey please see the attached link. https://www.jersey.com/working-in-jersey
