Shiplake College is seeking to appoint a dynamic and forward-thinking Director of Learning Development who is fully conversant with current developments in the teaching of pupils with SEND. 

This is a superb opportunity for a suitably-qualified practitioner to lead this well-established and respected department. The successful applicant will lead a committed and experienced team of teachers and should have an infectious enthusiasm for both the provision of Learning Development support and its key role in enabling pupils to develop, progress and achieve across the curriculum.

Acting as the College’s SEND co-ordinator the successful applicant will also be part of the Academic Leadership Group.

Shiplake College is situated in 45 acres of beautiful countryside on the banks of the river Thames between Reading and Henley-on-Thames. All teachers are expected to contribute to our co-curricular programme.
