Are you an outstanding, organised and innovative curriculum leader looking to join and lead a dedicated and successful Expressive Arts department covering for maternity leave. The Academy places expressive arts at the heart of the curriculum. At KS3, every student will have the opportunity to take each expressive arts subject every week. Our KS4 cohorts have benefitted from our forward-thinking and collaborative approach towards adapting to the new GCSE curriculum. At KS5, the Academy offers IB Art course to students and hosts exhibitions to rival foundation degrees, in exciting locations thanks to a partnership with British Land. The Expressive art department prides itself in its unique partnerships with numerous external bodies which enrich our students experience of the subject. 

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, highly motivated and an excellent classroom practitioner with leadership experience who is committed to student success and development. Experience of leading a core subject, and planning and delivering the teaching of GCSE lessons is essential. As Director of Learning you will be overseeing all areas of the Science curriculum and progress of its students. The willingness to contribute to extra-curricular activities is also essential. Most importantly, the role provides a real opportunity to lead a team that is making a difference.
