Job overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and inspirational Choir Director.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a flexible approach are essential to meet the varied demands of a school environment.

Applicants must be able to lead a young choir and instil a love of performing together.

Queen’s Young Voices have a long history of excellence and have achieved many awards over the years: Banardo's National Choir Finalists in 2014, BBC Songs of Praise Choir of the Year Finalists 2015, Spirit of Christmas Competition Winners 2017, as well as the prestige of being part of the opening performance for HM the Queen’s visit to Chester in 2018. The Choir have been involved in many charitable events throughout the years and have performed to the community in a variety of venues including the Cathedral and local churches.

Following a COVID hiatus, we would like to see the girls return to the joy and pleasure of singing, and build upon the successes of the past whilst continuing to be an inspirational light in the community in the future.
